Tocando la Musica del Pueblo con Benito y Alejandro

I recently made a trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras and I had the great pleasure to play some music with my Suegro (father-in-law) Sr. Benito Alonzo and his great friend and wonderful Bajero Sr. Alejandro Galindo. They know a "monton" de songs in the Latin American traditional vein, and they gave me the great opportunity to play a set with them in the afternoon out at Benito's farm which is about a two-hour drive into the mountains from Tegucigalpa. Interview on WLRN Radio recorded 5/17/2010

if you have a sound card attached to your computer, and you can run multimedia flashplayer, then you should be hearing the interview I did with Jesse Jones Jr. on the Tracy Fields show on Monday evening, May 17th 2010, in which we discussed Jesse Jones' new record "Father of Scat Hop" which I produced. This was a fun interview! I hope you enjoy listening to it, it runs about one hour. To view the E-Phonic MP3 Player you will need to have Javascript turned on and have Flash Player 9 or better installed. /wlrn_interview_100517.xml

Have you ever noticed that whenever you're in a bar, listening to a...
