Typically Ike has Kirk Green playing bass with us... Kirk is a frikkin' virtuoso and technically blows away just about anyone I know, including myself. But when he can't make it, I'm pleased to be allowed to play bass with the group. This recording has me on bass and Paul Banmann on keyboards.

Van Dyke Cafe records all their sessions and archives the recordings. They let the camera run during the whole night, which means there are half hour breaks between each set. You can let it run and listen to the house musicduring the breaks, or fast forward by clicking on the video track, then waiting for the video cursor to catch up to where you clicked. You can get around these videos that way if you don't want to watch the whole thing. After they are like four hours each :) not to say they aren't chock full of good music, if you have the time, we've got the jams.
